Dear viewers:
When my good friend Dietrich Apel started this web site in 2013 at the age of 84, he did it on the premise that it should be free to all, with no annoying advertisements, and fact based with no forum or discussion groups but open to additions by others with solid data to contribute. His intent was to preserve the History of the fine German Hunting Guns before it is lost.
When I took over the web site in 2016 shortly before his passing I early decided to follow his lead and funded it out of the proceeds from my small business. It is still free to all, fact based, with no advertisements and I still welcome information from other sources.
At the age of 74 I am now semi retired and my income is limited. Recently a few people who know me have asked how they can make a donation in thanks for what the web site has to offer. This page was created to allow that and any contribution will go towards the maintenance of the web site and is greatly appreciated.
