From the Pape & Kellner Archive we learn that Waffen Bennewitz operated by Otto Bennewitz was located at Schneiderstraße 5 in Kaiserslautern. probably opened around 1900 the shop was noted as being under Electrical operation or power. He manufactured and distributed Hunting Weapons, Target Weapons, Pistols / Revolvers, Ammunition and Hunting equipment. He is also noted as making Target Rifles with a faster twist of rifling with greater accuracy. He died in 1945. The following advertisement is from a 1912 periodical.

Next we have a drilling and a single shot rifle which is courtesy of Heritage Auctions and comes from the J M Davis Arms and Historical Museum. The Drilling is 16 ga. and 9mm with serial no. 89. The single shot rifle is .36 cal. with a 28 inch barrel, serial no. 6067.
