The following images were sent to Dietrich Apel in 2002 by Mr. Paul Lackey when he was in search of information about the gun. Dietrich put him in contact with Elke Weiss who at that time was in the Sales Dept. at Merkel. She informed him that the gun was a model 65, 12 ga. with 70mm chambers, ventilated rib, and two Ivory beads. It has automatic ejectors and a single selective trigger. All of the internal parts are gold plated. The dimensions of the custom made stock are 14 3/4″ LOP, 1 3/8″ drop at comb and 1 5/8″ drop at heel. The gun was manufactured in 1926 and delivered on March 4th.
